h220430 believes that the modern practice of excessive consumption based on planned obsolescence is caused by a lack of communications between people and commodities. They drew attention to this situation by designing a Crutch table to emphasize the relationship between people and their possessions.
One missing leg is replaced with crutches and the Crutch table appears to be in pain. h220430 hopes that the Crutch table will make people more aware of their possessions and feelings that have been numbed by excessive consumption.
